Daisy - Daisy was found in a ditch with another dog, and adopted in 1998. At the approximate
age of 12, Daisy passed her TDI therapy dog certification. She regularly volunteers at the Fayetteville Public
Library (sit-stay-read) as well as the occassional pre-school or girl scout group to teach about animal
safety.

Hannah - Hannah was found on the side of the road by Shena as an emaciated stray.
She was adopted in Jan. '09 to a home in Massachusetts. Today, she is a happy, healthy goofball, pictured here with
her best buddy, and fellow rescue, Rufus.

Pike - Pike was rescued by our partner shelter in Arkansas 4 years ago and he
and his sister Molly were returned because of a move out of state. He is a 5 year old purebred Beagle who is
completely house trained.
Pike truely is a miracle dog. He was brought to the Arkansas shelter from someone who found him on a Oaklahoma
turn pike. They thought he was dead as he was just lying there. Pike was diagnosed with an incurable tick borne
illness found in that state. The shelter decided to give him a chance and he was placed on 3 very strong
antibiotics as he could not even stand up. The shelter worker kept him in a bath tub and would carry him outside to
potty. After a couple of weeks he started to stand and then walk. After 4 months he had gained weight and was
playing with other dogs. He was taken back in where his blood count was normal. The vet exclaimed this was a
miracle for him to overcome this illness.
The shelter workers were not suprised as Pike is a very happy and sweet little guy who has a positive outlook on
life. He was adopted and lived happily with his new sister Molly for 4 years.
